@cyber_date is an instagram account consisting of digital compositions created through a self-contained process within said app using no outside imagery, only the solid background and/or the grid. The images form through multiple rounds of editing and screenshotting, slowly coaxing color and form from the noise generated by exaggerated use of editing tools like contrast, saturation, sharpness, etc.
The account was active from 2014 - 2016, with a brief COVID-19 inspired resurgence in 2020.
